The Adult Ministries at Crossroads are all about connecting with God and other people in authentic, caring relationships, seeking to be Jesus-like people who do Jesus-like stuff.
As we do our part—participate in personal devotions, Engage Groups, Living Out Love and weekend worship services—we believe God will bring spiritual maturity and fulfillment to our lives. At Crossroads, we are about doing life together and making sure that no one has to stand alone.

Parish Nurse Ministry
Crossroads Parish Nurses are Here to Serve You
Crossroads is served by Connie Frazer and Judy Prowse. Michelle Frazer-Rodriguez will be joining them this year. All are experienced RNs. With their health screening, such as blood pressure measurements on the second Sunday of each month, they have alerted both younger and older people about potentially dangerous medical conditions and have even saved some lives. They are available to you for consultation and look forward to serving you.
Parish nurses can play a vital role in health care delivery. As healthcare has become increasingly segmented and complex, people often have difficulty sorting out and receiving the services they need. Fortunately, within the past 25 years both health professions and the church have recognized the need for a healthcare ministry, and a new concept was born – parish nursing. Parish nurses are registered nurses prepared in holistic ministry.
Parish nurses work with members of faith communities in many ways:
- Visit members in homes or hospitals;
- Counsel members on health-related issues;
- Assist in obtaining needed health services;
- Help members understand the relationship between body, mind and spirit;
- Assist in adapting important lifestyle changes;
- Promote wellness through education and activities;
- Provide health screenings;
- Develop support groups within the church;
- Coordinate congregational volunteers.
If you would like to speak with a parish nurse, contact the Crossroads Business Office 651-294-7700.
