Brrr...

Hi everyone!

Brrr!  Now that I’m back from Mexico the weather decides to be unbearably cold.  Go figure.

Although I’m not excited about sub-zero temperatures, I am excited about this weekend (Week 3 of Life Apps) at Crossroads.  It’s one of those weekends where the music, message, and personal story have come together beautifully through the orchestration of God’s Spirit.

It’s also “go time” when it comes to getting into a Winter/Spring Small Group.  I’m amazed at the plethora of options in the catalogue.  Don’t miss out on group life at Crossroads.  For those of you interested in exploring membership at Crossroads, Pastor Jonna and I are co-leading a class creatively entitled “Membership” at the Woodbury campus Thursday nights.  Check it and the other groups out (and register) right here.

A few other quick tidbits (morsels of information)…

  • Wanting to be sensitive to all, we now are offering a gluten free bread option when we partake of Communion.  This prepackaged option is available at the Welcome Center (we are celebrating Communion this weekend).

  • We have a team from Crossroads in Uganda doing dental work right now.  They are seeing hundreds of children…many of whom have extreme dental needs.  Pray for their work and their energy level!  Pictures and updates are being posted on our Facebook page.

  • Our next mission trip is coming up on March 10-17.  We’re going back to an orphanage near Reynosa, Mexico.  The team will be doing various ministry projects.  For more information, click here

I want to thank all of you who gave so generously at the end of 2011.  I will send out specific numbers in the next Update (our financial treasurer is on vacation), but for now celebrate the fact that we made up a lot of “financial ground.”

See you soon…we’ll turn the heat up for you!
