The Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf (CCEFS) provides help for those in need in the Woodbury community. There are times in life such as a job loss or illness that puts you in a situation that you need help. Our goal is to provide food for those families in this type of transitional need.
CCEFS relies heavily upon generous and dedicated volunteers to sort and stock donations and serve our clients. We also welcome volunteers who are interested in serving in other capacities beyond food shelf fulfillment operations. CCEFS is looking for volunteers to help with community relations, grant writing, development, administration, communications and website management. If you would like to volunteer, we can find a place for you.
We welcome individual volunteers as well as those that wish to volunteer as a group. Volunteers can choose to participate once, as a one-time event, or participate on an ongoing basis.
Some areas that we need help are:
• Truck Unloading
• Food Collection and Distribution
• Sorting and Packing Groceries
• Public Relations and Communications
• Grant Writing
• Database and Web Development
The Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf provides food, personal care items and other resources to people in need that reside in Woodbury, Oakdale, Landfall, and South Maplewood.
