    Cyber/Update

    Happy February!

New Message Series: “Guardrails” (from the book of Proverbs)
I have been looking forward to this series for months!! Just like the guardrails on our highways protect us from harm, the “guardrails” (principles) in the Bible are there for our good as well. We need personal guardrails in our lives to help us navigate wisely. Without them certain areas of our lives get “wrecked” and we end up with a boat-load of regret.

We’re going to start this series off with a bang! If you’ve ever wondered what a good weekend would be to invite a friend, it’s THIS ONE. We have great music, a powerful story, and a message that will connect.

Invite. It’s going to be a SUPER WEEKEND.

Small Groups (because…circles beat rows and face-to-face friends beat Facebook friends any day of the week).
Our groups are booming at Crossroads. We have more adults in groups than ever before (over 700). In the small group I co-lead with Jonna (Membership) we have 65 people…I think we need to take the word “small” out of what we call it. Last week some “God questions” surfaced. One dealt with why God doesn’t make it easier for people to see the truth and believe. The question is so good that I blogged on it. You can read my musings by following this link: crossroadschurch.cc/philsblog.

One last thing: make sure you grab a Bible Reading Bookmark this weekend (or follow along under the Adult Ministries tab on the website). Starting Monday we’re going to read through the Book of Proverbs over the next several weeks. You’ll be amazed how practical and profound this book is.

Looking forward to seeing you this weekend,

    Pastor Phil

Eagan Campus Update

  • A Word From Pastor Phil

Hi Eagan friends! Here’s a quick update regarding the search process for your new Campus Pastor:

    Update from the Search Team:
The Team (Phil Print, Stefanie Carlson, Jim Mitchell, Paula Merrill) has unanimously recommended to the Board of Elders that Marcy Baumann be the candidate for Campus Pastor. The Board of Elders will interview Marcy this month and decide whether or not to extend a call to her to fill this position. This recommendation comes after months of exploring other potential candidates. The Eagan Impact Team fully endorses Marcy in this role. A final decision will be made by the next Eagan Campus Huddle on March 4. Thanks for your prayers and patience during this important process.

I’ve really enjoyed working with Stef, Jim, and Paula! We’ve sensed God’s leading throughout. Although we looked at several good resumes, we felt like our internal candidate (Marcy) is the right choice for this moment of ministry in Eagan! We’ll flesh this out in greater detail on March 4.
