There’s an ever-so-slight hint of a chill in the morning air, football is right around the corner, and here at Crossroad’s Eagan we are gearing up for a great fall! Mark your calendars now for these great upcoming events:
Slice of Crossroads: Sunday, September 12, 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
We provide the pizza and propaganda-- you provide your presence. (Okay, it’s not really propaganda--it’s just information about the church--but I just love it when all the letters match up!) Seriously, with so many new arrivals, this is a great way to meet the staff, make some new friends and see if you would like to take the next step in getting involved. It’s free and we will provide childcare if you register in advance. We’ve already checked the football schedule and there is no noon Viking’s game, so what are you waiting for? Sign up right here right now.
Fusion Kick-Off: Wednesday, September 15, 6:30-8:00 PM
No, Fusion is not a new drink at Caribou Coffee! Fusion is our Youth Ministry and to kick the year off right we will be fusing teens and parents at our first meeting. We’re bringing in Games-2-U, the ultimate interactive game experience on the planet, to help us have some fun. We will also talk about the ultimate interactive God experience and set out the plan for what we hope will be an incredible school year. Make sure to come this Sunday to hear more interesting details during the morning announcements.
Clean-up, Spruce-Up & Mulch Day: Saturday, September 25, 9:00 AM to ????
I know what you’re thinking…. “You sure make that sound exciting – sign me up!” But the outcomes of the activity will be exciting! As we gear up for fall, we’ll be launching some new and creative outreach events and we want to put our best foot forward. In anticipation, we’re going to clean up some clutter and spruce up the grounds. We’ll provide coffee, donuts and lunch--you provide the manpower. Come and stay as for little or as long as you like. What a great time to make some new friends, connect with old friends, and get ready to welcome new people into our church and ultimately into a relationship with a God who loves them. Sign up at the Welcome Center.
Glad that He loves me,
Pastor Steve
