What Are Small Groups?

As Crossroads Church grows larger it’s easier to get lost in the crowd. That’s why as we grow larger we also want to “grow smaller.” So, please accept our invitation to “grow smaller” by getting into what we’re calling a Small Group.

These small groups of around 15 people are meant to be places where you study God’s word, build relationships, pray together and serve together. As amazing as Crossroads’ worship experiences are, they aren’t enough to become a fully growing and functioning follower of Jesus. It would be like only eating breakfast each day. As important a meal as breakfast is, eating a good breakfast doesn’t make up for eating well the rest of the day. A great weekend worship experience is completed by adding in a great weekly Small Group.

Small Groups are built around well-trained and well-supported leaders who lead out of their own passions. There are a variety of Biblically based studies and types of groups going on during each semester. Each semester runs for 10 to 12 weeks. Groups begin together and end together, but the journey in between is as diverse as the leaders God has called and empowered in our congregation.

All groups are open and registration for them begins three weeks before the start of the semester. There are catalogs available in the lobby and online that describe each group’s time, location, and purpose.  Some groups will run the same curriculum for both our fall and spring semesters, while some leaders will choose to do a different curriculum each semester.

Don’t miss an opportunity to grow in your life with Jesus and with your community at Crossroads church. Find a group!

If you have any questions or are interested in becoming a leader, please contact Pastor Jonna Fantz at 651-294-7721 or jonnafantz@crossroadschurch.cc .

Crossroads, are you ready to go on a road trip?

We’re going to journey through all 66 books of the Bible in a series we’re calling Route 66. This series is all about taking an in-depth look at the “Book of Books”—it’s stories, characters, principles, and unifying message.

How does the Bible fit together?
How can something so old speak to my life today?

Hop in the car, come to Crossroads, and journey with us as we take in the scenes of God’s original Route 66.
