In October we have been going through a teaching series in youth ministry titled "M68." We've taken three weeks to unpack an awesome verse from the Old Testament-Micah 6:8. Micah 6:8 says "The Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you; to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God." We've shortened it to M68 and asked the students to memorize this-Do Right, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly. We've even created bumper stickers for them to remind them. You may have seen a few around town! This week, keep these three things in mind-do what is right, be merciful, and be humble. That is what God requires of us!
This weekend, over 70 folks are retreating to Camp Lebanon for our annual middle school fall retreat., We call it Fall Escape and this year our theme is "Aliens." We'll be exploring what it means to live a life as aliens in a foreign world. Read the book of 1 Peter to learn more. Please pray for all of us this weekend and ask that God do some big things in the lives of our youth!
One.eighty resumes next Tuesday Oct. 25 as does Fusion (Eagan Campus) on Wednesday October 26 but NO HangTime on Wednesday October 26.
Have a great week!
