My wife, Amy, and I have been married for 32 years. Amy is a gifted leader, a brilliant thinker, and ridiculously talented. She is affectionately known as Gramy (gr-Amy) by her grandkids and LOVES being a grandma. I used to roll my eyes at people who were grandparents and talked about how great it was, and then I became one. And boy does it live up to the hype.
I have lived in Minnesota my whole life so yes, I am a tortured Vikings fan, like so many of the rest of you. I genuinely enjoy living in Minnesota and one of my favorite things is going up to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. I have been going up there for 23 consecutive years and I love it. Another hobby of mine is golf. I shouldn’t like golfing because of how frustrating it is, but here I am.
While I deeply enjoy my family, the outdoors, and golfing, I live for Jesus. I love him and I love his people. One of the reasons I am so excited to be at Crossroads is because what naturally flows out of me is a reflection of the heart and mission of Crossroads. Stepping into Crossroads feels like stepping into a comfy pair of slippers, and that sure is a good feeling. I find myself aching to reach one more. To reach one more person for Jesus.
