This is my favorite time of the year! The weather's cooler, football has begun, the leaves will soon start changing, and the youth at Crossroads get to retreat! A weekend retreat is a chance for our students to break out of their suburban bubble and spend some time far away, outdoors, and focus on God.
Our high schoolers (9th-12th grade) will retreat October 14-16 to Big Sandy Camp for an event we call Sabbath. Our theme for Sabbath this year is "Like This" because Jesus taught us to pray "Like this." Check out Matthew chapter 6. The cost is $110 and you can register online here...Sabbath 2011
Our middle schoolers (6th-8th grade) will retreat one week later October 21-23 to Camp Lebanon for Fall Escape! Our theme this year is "Aliens" and we will explore what it means to live as outsiders and strangers for Jesus. The cost is $100 and you can register online here...Fall Escape 2011
Both retreats will include lots of fun, food, music, games and God time! You can see why this is my favorite time of the year!
