When Pigs Fly

Seen any flying pigs lately?  Of course not.  Pigs trot, pigs squeal, pigs roll in the mud, but pigs don’t fly!  “When pigs fly” is a figure of speech that points to an impossibility.  It’s been used for hundreds of years to simply say something won’t (or can’t) happen.

But who’s to say?  Does anything exist beyond the natural world?  Are miracles to be excluded or discounted?  After all, the Christian faith “begins” with a virgin birth and “ends” with a crucified carpenter being raised from the dead.

Join us this March for When Pigs Fly, as we will look at some of Jesus’ most famous miracles and ask the obvious question, “What does it take for me to believe?”
