Check out our previous weekend messages.

A Reel Christmas

Like the Wonder of the first snowfall, watching a good movie is captivating. That's why Crossroads is "going to the movies" this December. Tucked away within many of our favorite holiday films is God's story.

The story of why Jesus came to earth as one of us. Join us for what is sure to be a "reely" memorable series!

Turing Point: A Journey Through Genesis

As we journey through Genesis, it doesn't take long for things to get messed up. By the time we got to chapter 6, mankind has "hit bottom." God sends a devastating flood to the world, changing everything. Thankfully, though, the flood is not the end of the story. It's actually the turning point for God and his people.

A rainbow in the sky is the promise of a new day and a new arrangement Characters like Noah and Abraham take the stage, and we see God's real intent- not to end his wayward people, not to wipe them out, but to woo them back to Himself; to enter into a new and deep relationship with Him, and to begin the journey of restoration.

The Starting Point: Journey Through Genesis

The first four words of the Bible are the Starting Point of our story. "In the beginning God..." Those words define everything. History is HIS story and WE are a part of it.

Journey with us through the book of Genesis. It's all about beginnings. How things came to be. How things got so messed up. And most importantly, how God responds to all of it.

A Weekend with Rich Stearns

Richard Stearns, U.S President of World Vision visited Crossroads this weekend. Driven by this his passion to raise awareness and support for poverty and justice issues, he authored The Hole in Our Gospel and Unfinished. This is How

It's easy for us to get so caught up making a living that we miss out on making a life. We take out eyes off of what is "Job #1" for every followers of Jesus. That's why this weekend we are going to go back to basics and learn how to build the life Gods wants us to live.

Everything is Awesome

In our world of too many options and too little time to do it all, how can we figure out what we should really be doing...what is more important? When everything is awesome, how do we decide what is best? This weekend we will discover two essential activities that will put all of our other priorities into their proper place.

God is in the pursuit business. the whole message of the Bible is that of God taking the initiative to relentlessly pursue His prodigal race. Not to repremand us, but to restore us into a right relationship with Himself. His dream is to capture us with His love and adopt us into His family by His Grace.

If you had only once chance to use your VOICE to say what you really wanted to your your your your your the people closet to you, what would you say? What would you tell them?

In other words: What encouragement would you give? What wisdom would you impart? What correction would you make? If you could use your VOICE to only say one thing...what would you say?  This July we are going to hear the answers to these questions from a few of leading voices at this Church.

Dangerous Church

In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus said he was going to build his church- the kind of church where "the powers of Hell will not conquer it" (see Matthew 16:18). Jesus dreamed of a prevailing church, a "dangerous" church, a church that pushes back the forces of darkness of the world. Too many churches are "safe" churches. their focus is on potlucks, preserving the status quo, and pleasing/pampering its members. A dangerous church focuses on changing the world with the love and transforming message of Jesus Christ.

Forward Motion

We are a culture that likes results quickly! The promise of weight loss pills and instant oatmeal and “on-demand” everything else allows us to bypass the process and get the outcomes we want.

But some of the most important destinations in life require that we arrive at them one small step at a time. This message will help us learn to identify, and then take, our next step.

Stuck In A Rut

Do you ever feel like you are reliving the same day over and over again? Like your life (spiritual, relational, vocational, physical) is stalled… going nowhere fast? Jesus said that he came to earth to give us a “rich and satisfying life.” (John 10:10). Far too often though, we find ourselves far from God’s ideal.

Want to break out? Join us each week as we get into the Bible and learn how to get out of the ruts we’re in.

Easter 2014

DOORS. We open and close them every day. Some lead to people or places that bring us delight. Others lead in the opposite direction and bring distress. The doors of our lives define us and oftentimes change us.

Easter is a story about a door that opened. A door that was different. A door of a tomb flung open. Out of this door walked a risen Christ. With him came… Forgiveness. Freedom. Hope.

Calling It Good Friday

In this message we are asking why, when it comes to Friday, we’re calling it GOOD.

You'll Be Glad You Did

Let’s be honest, there are things we know we should do but don’t do because they’re inconvenient or unpleasant. It takes a tremendous amount of discipline to do what’s right when you don’t feel like it. That’s why most of us opt for the easy road.

In this series we’re going to look at some of the hardest verses in the Bible to live out. As we’ll see, the price of following Jesus is high, but the payoff is even higher. Jesus never said it would be easy to follow him… just worth it.

Breaking Bad

Sin destroys everything in its path. Sin, when given an inch, takes a mile. And sin, lurking in each of us, needs to be overcome. That’s what this series is all about. If you’ve ever struggled with breaking free from the destructive nature of sin, this series is for you. The bad news is sin is addictive. The good news is its power can be broken!

One Life

For this message, we were pleased to welcome as our guest speakers Gary Walter, President of the Evangelical Covenant Church, and Don Golden, Vice President of Church Relations, World Vision. They are giving us an update on our partnership in Congo, Africa. If you would love to sponsor a child in Congo, please click here. You can change a child’s world for good.

Future Family

Family. We all have one. While some of us loved the years when we were growing up, others couldn't wait to move out and start over. Either way, we want our "future family" to be better than the one we started out with. Marriage. Kids. Decision-making. Each of these plays a major role in making that goal a reality.

The question is: When it comes to family, what does our family's preferred future actually look like? The Cleavers? The Bradys? The Huxtables? The Bundys? The Simpsons? The Dunphys? Before we find our "Future Family," we have to first figure out what we are aiming for.
