Winter is here! And every winter Crossroads' Youth Ministry retreats for a weekend for what we call Winter Whiteout. This year our theme is "Viral." It seems everyday, there is a new viral video on YouTube that everyone wants to see. And just like a good viral video, we believe everyone wants to see Jesus. In fact, when we look closely, we can't take our eyes off of him...and we want to show him to others! Jesus and his Church are truly viral!
Whiteout is a weekend filled with awesome activities, worship services, friends, food, and lots of fun! This year Whiteout will take place at Camp Shamineau near Motley, MN. Middle school students attend Feb. 10-12 and high school students attend Feb. 17-20. That's right, high schoolers get an extra day! At Shamineau there is a ton of fun winter activities including, snow tubing, horseback riding, broomball, cross country skiing, ice skating and an outdoor ice climbing tower! If you like to stay indoors where it's warm and cozy there is an indoor skatepark (bring your helmet), climbing tower, volleyball, basketball, nature center, snackshop, and dodgeball court!
